Hey welcome to the website for Russell and Alexandra. This site was a brain child of me, Russ and generally covers my many things that I find interesting along this journey of life. Alex and I(Russ) raise bees, make mead, ride motorcycles, garden and communicate with others across the world with ham radio.

For the better part of four years this page has been providing general info about my activities, but this has now changed. I am working on blogging and being more web active. - Russ

Well last October, Alex and I decided to become proactive in our health and this was beyond the gym membership and eating healthier. We were introduced to a product called Mona·Vie, it is a fruit juice with the power of the ACAI berry at its core.

Last year for my birthday, Alex got me a ticket to a beekeeping course at the Dallas Arboretum and thus sparked my interest in beekeeping. This facination was beyond the wine harvesting to make mead, honey wine. I wanted to explore the other benefits of raising bees like combatting stress, improove gardening yields and other things.

5/15/12: A quick note about gardening, I hadn't really gone and planted a garden since I was a late teenager. This year Alex and I decided that we wanted to move beyond a couple of containers to grow a tomato or two. The gardening link to the left show pictures of our gardening, the bees are helping.
